Kinabalu Park is Malaysia’s first World Heritage with its magnificent focal point, Mt Kinabalu, standing at 4095.2m. Kinabalu Park is among the most important biological sites in the world, with more than 5,000 species of plants, 326 species of birds, and more than 100 mammalian species identified. Kundasang is famous for its fresh vegetables and local produce that is suitable for temperate climate. It is also where the WWII 1945 death marches ends at Ranau. Another attraction is the natural hot sulphuric springs at Poring popular for soaking away sores and muscles aches; not forgetting the awesome canopy walk 40m above forest floor. Desa Dairy farm with its breathtaking scenery and cool breeze offers a chance to learn about milk processing and to feed calves and goats with bottled milk and grass. Fresh milk and yoghurt are available for sale. Sabah Tea Longhouse provides a cultural experience with a night in a traditional Runggus longhouse. Each room has three mattresses on elevated bamboo platform, mosquito nets, ceiling fan, and common bathrooms.
